Interesting to see the last figures regarding the NMBS-SNCB published today in Le Soir.
First of all the increase in passengers in significative (almost 4% compared to last year). Secondly, the fact that more than 90% of the train is on time (or with a delay smaller than 6 minutes). One talks a lot about the train delay but the uncertainty seems to remain similar to the traffic jams.
Combining car and train (using B-Parking for example) remain an excellent solution for commuters in case of good office location (mainly in cities close to the main train stations). This highlights the importance of office location and its impact in terms of mobility and sustainability.
